Taking inspiration from the sea and the movement of the waves, Under The Sea presents sophisticated curved shapes, like a depiction of the organic waves carved in the sand. The sunlight on the surface of the water, shimmering like gold in the sun, with the deep and dark ocean below. Mysterious, calm and elegant. This is how the new collection from the Danish fine jewelry house Ole Lynggaard presents itself.
Each piece balances artistic and technical design choices, with craftsmanship and artisanal finesse being essential. A voluminous silhouette, yet comfortably light, fits smoothly around the wrist, fingers and ears. An expression that is characterized by lightness and strength, just like the contrasts of the sea.
The collection consists of bangles, earrings and rings in infinite, organic shapes made from 18 carat yellow gold. Even in their manufacture, the pieces of jewelry show a beautiful reference to the contrasting elements of the ocean. The polished and shiny tips are reminiscent of the tranquillity of the ocean, like gentle surfaces made smooth by the movements of the sea. Countered by the silky matt grooves, like a reference to the rough and roaring sea. A perfect harmony between nature and artistry.
